Descriptions:

April 26, 1975. Six months after getting knocked out by Muhammad Ali in the Rumble in the Jungle, George Foreman walked into Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto with something to prove — so he fought five men in one night. Promoted by Don King and billed as a “boxing demonstration,” Foreman squared off against Alonzo Johnson, Jerry Judge, Terry Daniels, Charlie Polite, and Boone Kirkman back to back, with each bout scheduled for three rounds. No headgear. Real punches. One man against five.

What was supposed to be a show of dominance turned into one of the strangest nights in boxing history. Foreman threw a folding chair toward Ali before the first bell even rang. Corner men brawled in the ring. Charlie Polite blew Foreman a kiss during the staredown. And through it all, Muhammad Ali sat ringside next to Howard Cosell — heckling Foreman every single round. Foreman won all five. But the crowd booed. The press tore him apart. And Ali had already left the building before the final bout was over.

This is the story of Foreman vs. Five.
